Black Label Kollective celebrates the art of original pattern-making and handcrafted textiles, transforming studio artworks into living, wearable, and inhabitable designs. Every pattern and print is meticulously hand-drawn and painted by Samantha Black, then translated into textiles, wall coverings, rugs, and garments. Each collection is a study in color, texture, and the subtle wonders of the natural world, capturing the curiosity and spirit of her journeys and explorations.
In addition to curated collections, Black Label Kollective creates custom patterns and textiles. For clients seeking truly one-of-a-kind designs, bespoke patterns can be hand-drawn, woven, and printed exclusively, bringing a personal and unique vision to life in clothing, interiors, and beyond.

Samantha Black’s studio art and installations are a living conversation between nature and pattern, where each design captures the rhythm, texture, and intricacy of the natural world. Patterns begin as hand-drawn studies inspired by flora, fauna, and the subtle movements of the environment, evolving into meticulously crafted textiles, wall coverings, and installations that bring this dialogue to life. Beyond individual pieces, Black Label Kollective curates immersive gallery and exhibition experiences, collaborating with creative partners to transform spaces into dynamic encounters with art, pattern, and nature.
Available in sizes from 3″ x 3″ details to large-scale 4.5′ x 9′ panels—or full-wall installations—each piece can be customized to create spaces that are alive, engaging, and deeply personal, blending the art of pattern with the wonder of the natural world.
Samantha Black also partners with collectors for bespoke commissioned fine art.
