Project Profile – Full Bathroom Remodel
2 Bedroom / 2 Bathroom Home – San Francisco Bay Area, CA
The pre-renovation bathroom had an over-sized jacuzzi bathtub complete with jets that now provided a constant source of scum that needed to be cleaned, leaving the home owners with constant feeling that the bathtub was never truly clean.
Before…
They wanted to keep the bath/shower combo and wanted things to feel light and open by eliminating the heavily veined marble of the previous design. They also wanted to include a functional double vanity with storage and eliminate the odd countertop and vessel sink, that also never seemed to be clean around the countertop edges. The result is a clean and masculine space with warm wood accents. They love the look of matte black fixtures against the white tile and walls. I grounded the design by using black hexagon tiles with dark black grout.
