Project Profile – Full Bathroom Renovation

2 Bedroom / 2 Bathroom – San Francisco Bay Area, CA

This family really wanted a dramatic update, complete with an extensive layout change to unlock the potential of the space. The built-in storage overhang enclosing the bathtub and shower curtain really restricted the space by not allowing any standing room or natural light in the shower. The current layout also had a view straight to the toilet, affording no privacy.

The new layout created a curbless shower area at the rear of the space with a fixed glass shower panel. A new floating double vanity provides much needed counter space and function to the home and allows the room to breathe. Storage is also added with new recessed medicine cabinets above the vanity.

The finishes include black chevron tile, lush gold patterned wallpaper and solid rosewood vanity. The design also uses mixed metals of matte black and brushed gold.

Featured Tile

Metro Soho Chevron Matte Black

As a fresh, innovative deviation to the timeless subway tile, porcelain floor and wall tile offers a sleek, mod update to this classic look. The elongated rhombus shape enables this to be used in abundant pattern arrangements, making it a nifty choice for any installation. With a glazed matte surface, these black tiles come packaged as 5 left facing and 5 right facing tiles to help fashion these varying pattern arrangements.

Let’s build something together.
